More about Olga Raffa:

Internationally known for her professional bodywork and rejuvenating results by her repeat clients for over 25 years, Olga promotes health and well-being through

The Art of Therapeutic Bodywork.

Olga trained and worked with many eclectic teachers and techniques whilst living and travelling in and out of Los Angeles for over 20 years where she became a Massage therapist to the stars.

Having studied a variety of techniques namely Structural Integration with Charles Siemers, instructor with Ida P Rolf. Neuromuscular Therapy ( St Johns Method) , Aromatherapy, Reflexology,

Pregnancy Massage, Applied Kinesiology, and Shiatsu and Medical Massage, Olga has a full bag of tools with which to put a myriad of physical conditions and injuries back in balance.

After graduating in General Art and Design she apprenticed with her mother, an Antiquarian Book-Restorer. After gaining the craft of restoring rare and fine-bindings she leaned toward restoring people's health and well-being. Hands on therapy was a natural progression career choice for her natural healing abilities.

Combined with her passion for health and travel Olga took an interest in Eastern and Asian yoga and Chi Gong. Her 3 trips to India, Nepal, Ladakh and Tibet, was in keeping with her passion for arts and crafts and their culture but more importantly the art of meditation and healing, especially Tibetan Buddhist spiritual practices which inspired her to learn the Tibetan language. She had permission from the Dalai Lama to set up a Conservation Department in the Tibetan Library in Dharamsala, a longtime goal to be realized one day, perhaps in her retirement from bodywork.

A year in Brazil with world renowned psychic & healer Luiz Gasperetto put her in touch with the bio-energetic chakra body healing system with which she takes care to balance on her clients after every treatment. She studied mediumship healing in Sao Paulo and studied dance and movement in Porto Seguro.

In Hawaii Olga met native healer and Hawaiian Treasure Auntie Margaret and continued her healing arts education on a course of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage with her. This entailed swimming with the dolphins every morning before class, and put her in touch with the South Pacific Hoponono philosophy and Spirit of Aloha.

Edythe Preet editor for a lifestyle magazine in LA encouraged Olga's natural writing talent to help her become an accomplished writer contributing for the health column in the magazine.

She gained much experience working in the Mauna Kea Spa on the Big Island of Hawaii and she incorporated the healing Lomi Lomi Massage principles of prayer work gained there into her thriving practice.
